The test for WIFI Borescope Endoscope camera ( wifi wireless snake camera)




Home Endoscope,Wireless WIFI Borescope,Tube Extendible Snake Scope Inspection Camera support iPad/iPhone monitoring



I had tested the WIFI Borescope endoscope camera (wifi snake camera).

I will compare with  WIFI Borescope endoscope and FEBON230  small wifi AP.



The product is divided two parts.

1. camera side is CVBS output.

2. compression module is  Multimedia main module + interface board with USB wifi dongle

1. camera side is CVBS output

   How can we know it is CVBS output?

   1.1All of Borescope endoscope on website is 640X480 resolution.

        I CAN NOT see the 1280X720  

   1.2  It use the " video decoder TW9900 "

       It means the camera is CVBS output.




   1.3   So, It will face the issue  problem of  " CVBS transfer  Digital" as below


       Comb filter:
 
         TW9910 is a cheap video decoder, it can not YC separate!

          This color means Moiré

 
    The below image is from wifi borescope camera.


     

   If  add the 3D comb filter , the video will as below
     ( This is my product, FEBON 100 UVC grabber card+ FEOBON230 UVC wifi AP)



      De-interlace

       it is not  3D de-interlace! It just smooth it!

    2. compression module is  Multimedia main module + interface board with USB wifi dongle


This solution divide three parts

2.1  Multimedia main board.
2.2  interface board
2.3 wifi usb dongle with antenna




2.1 Multimedia Main Board.


   many many pin account!!!

   The size is very large~~~   38mm x 38mm

 


Let compare with  FEBON230  UVC WIFI small AP card. 

The size is only  25mm x 35mm 





 2.2  interface board & 2.3 wifi usb dongle with antenna

   The purpose of the interface board will provide the power to main board and transfer the CVBS video  signal to interlace ITU.656

  This solution is hard to change to the mega pixel  resolution.

  This is NOT technical  issue...  The F/W  support is very very heavy...

  For example, which sensor  can use, which resolution can use , which color parameter can use

  The condition  is too much~~




FEBON 230 is PIFA ANTENNA. The PIFA is very very cheap and performance is  also good


 No extra  wifi usb dongle! 

The size is very small!!!  25mm x35 mm

To transmit the TS video file by tsplayer


The parameter of the modulator from tsplayer is as below


1. Bandwidth: 2, 3,4,5,6,7,8 MHZ
         
                   ~~DVB-T standard is 6MHZ

2. Frequency (khz): 45~1001 MHZ

                   ~~ it is about 159ch @ 6MHZ bandwidth.
                   ~~ you can choice what channel you want to modulate!

3.Code rate: 1/2, 2/3,3/4,5/6, 7/8
               
                  ~~the modulator data rate will bigger if the number is big.

4.constellation: QPSK, QAM16, QAM32.

                 ~~ modulator data rate :  QAM32>QAM16>QPSK

                 ~~the distance of  transmitted signal: QPSK> QAM16>QAM32

5.Guard interval : 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32

                 ~~ modulator date rate:  1/32>1/16>1/8>1/4


6. modulator output data rate & TS file input data rate

          ~~  modulator output date rate is almost the same TS file input data rate.


The modulator date rate number is as below.








We will suggest you the parameter if you transmit " 1080i", "720p" and "480i"


1.   1920x1080i NTSC 29.97fps / 1920x1080i PAL 25 fps    

   if you follow our suggestion parameter  that I inform you the video convert, the    parmeter is as below.

   case1: QAM64

   the video bite rate (TS file input data rate) is 12597000.
   code rate:2/3
   constellation:QAM64
   Guard interval: 1/16


   Case2:QAM16

   the video bite rate (TS file input data rate) is 12597000.
   code rate:3/4
   constellation:QAM16
   Guard interval: 1/16






2.1280x720 (720p)  NTSC  29.97fps /1280X720 PAL 25fps

   if you follow our suggestion parameter  that I inform you the video convert, the    parmeter is as below.


the video bite rate (TS file input data rate) is 18509000.
   code rate:2/3
   constellation:QAM16
   Guard interval: 1/4




3.MPEG-2-HDV1-480i 4x3  NTSC /MPEG-2-HDV1-576i 4x3 PAL


  if you follow our suggestion parameter  that I inform you the video convert, the    parmeter is as below.


the video bite rate (TS file input data rate) is 18509000.
   code rate:2/3
   constellation:QAM16
   Guard interval: 1/4



To test the video bit rate of TS video file.


We will double check the video bit rate of the converted file.


Before starting the test, the dvb-t tx usb dongle must be plugged in the PC.



Case A.

           any video convert to  1920x1080i  NTSC 29.97fps
           any  video convert to  1920x1080i  PAL   25fps

           any video convert to 1280x720 (720p)  NTSC  29.97fps

install video convert software.

Install Software.

Before we start to covert the video file to TS video file, please install the two software first.

A. Quicktime player

B. Canopus ProCoder 3.0

convert the video file to TS video file


Convert the video file to TS video file.

we will transfer to 3 type TS video file

case A. any video convert to  1920x1080i  NTSC 29.97fps
           any  video convert to  1920x1080i  PAL   25fps

case B.  any video convert to 1280x720 (720p)  NTSC  29.97fps

case C. any video convert to MPEG-2-HDV1-480i 4x3 NTSC

   Setup  the H.264 parameter.

 
   Bite rate: CBR
   Number of passes: 1 or 2    (2 is better for the image performance)
   video bite rate: 10000~12000 ( you decide what number between this range)
    Max bite rate: 10000~12000 (this number will be the same the video bite rate)





case B.  any video convert to 1280x720 (720p)  NTSC  29.97fps
          any  video convert to 1280x720 (720p)  PAL  25fps




  if your country is NTSC system, please choice the h.264,1280x720,29.97fps

    if your country is PAL system, please choice the h.264, 1280x720, 25fps

    Now, I use the NTSC for the demo sample.




Setup  the H.264 parameter.

 
   Bite rate: CBR
   Number of passes: 1 or 2    (2 is better for the image performance)

Setup  the mpeg-2 parameter.

 
   USE the default value

    Quality speed: highest quality.








step 6: start convert the video



The video will be converted as the below file name:


case A any video convert to  1920x1080i  NTSC 29.97fps
           any  video convert to  1920x1080i  PAL   25fps



       test_h.264.h.264

     please rename it to become   "test1920by1080.ts"

case B.  any video convert to 1280x720 (720p)  NTSC  29.97fps

Driver install for USB dongle of DVB-T modulator


The windows driver of USB dongle of DVB-T dvb-t Modulator (generator /transmission) includes two parts

1. 32 bit (xp, win7)

2. 64bit ( xp, win7)







The example for install step-by-step is using " windows 7 32 bit"


step1 open "device manage"

plug in the USB dongle of DVB-T transmitter.

 We can see the "unknown device  DVB-T TV Stick" mark.

 Click the mouse right icon to apply on the  "unknown device DVB-T TV Stick"

 (if your right mouse click can not see the picture as below, please wait)

 And then, change the driver.

USB WEBCAM to TV by DVB-T TX

 



USB webcam video  through PC is broadcast by  DVB-T Modulator generator transmission dongle

USB dongle 介面的 DVB-T 影像信號產生器 發射器 Modulator transmitter generator (TX)



這一支USB 介面的  DVB-T 影像產生器 發射器 或是稱呼 DVB-T 調變器
英文名字 叫做 DVB-T Modulator transmitter (transmission) generator (TX)




他可以將電腦的影像檔案,透過這隻 DVB-T 發射器,透過 DVB-T的頻道,
將影像廣播出去,然後由電視的數位電視接收盒 將影像播出,


我們在開車想要聽MP3的音樂,可以透過FM 發射器將聲音調變到FM 的某一個頻道,
然後由車子的FM 接收器,接收到MP3上面的音樂。

一樣的道理, usb dongle 介面的DVB-T發射器,可以將電腦上面的影像檔案,藉由數位電視的的頻道,將影像傳送至電視的數位電視接收盒,

我們在家裡看到的數位電視,就是由陽明山 將 20台電視節目 不管是高解析度的Hi-hd 還是D1的節目,將他們發射出去



 所以,現在只要買數位電視 都會內建數位電視接收器。用這個方式來傳送影像,有點類似
wifi  的widi ,  但他們的原理是完全不一樣的.


1. DVB-T TX Modulator generator transmitter (transmission) 這是用廣播的模式.

   他可以讓同時超過  100個人同時收看到影像。
但是WIDI 卻會卡到頻寬的問題,無法同時讓這麼多人收看.


2. WIFI WIDI  他是雙向的通訊,你可以邊傳影像邊上網路。

    但是 DVB-T  Modulator generator TX  他只能走單方面的廣播,無法互動



 3. 在其他條件一樣下, DVB-T Transmitter 他的效率會高於 WIFI widi

     以前物理學學過,光有 波動性 還有粒子性, 簡單的說,如果頻率越高的話,那麼粒子性質就會越高;頻率越低,那麼波動性質越高.

   粒子性質高的話,那麼穿透力比較差.


  WIFI 是走 2.4G/ 5G ; dvb-t  是走  45MHZ ~1000MHZ 頻率遠低於wifi, 

  因此穿透力高....

This experiment  will show that   PC video file can be broadcast by DVB-T  TV channel  through the DVB-T USB Modulator generator tramitter dongle.





I will use the DVB-T  channel to broadcast.

everyone can receive my video by DVB-T receiver. It is like the FM audio.

This method is totally difference to WIFI WIDI.

The reason are as below.

1. DVB-T TX Modulator generator transmitter  is broadcast.

  it is ok and possible for  even 100 people want to receive the video.

  But WIDI CAN NOT!

  WiDI will depend on the WIFI bandwidth and the bite rate....


2. WIFI WIDI is two way communication.  But DVB-T Modulator generator TX's advantage is only one way broadcast.


 3. with others being equal, the transmission distance and efficiency is higher than WIDI
