General speaking, if the software in MAC can get the video from external webcam,driver free uvc grabber also can work on it.

So far, just only one software iMovie can not work.
The most software on MAC for example,  QuickTime player, QuickTime player pro, FaceTime, PhotoBooth, SKYPE, YoTube , professional VJ (visual Jockey)  modul8,AVENUE, istopMotion,

Windows just can accept one video grabber card at the same time. FEBON 100 have a special firmware design. windows can accept more than one FEBON 100 UVC grabber card and at least 3 pics. Not only windows But also MACbook and MACbook pro.

Video and Audio Sync issue

UVC (video) and UAC (AUDIO ) is two independence stream. 

The output from uvc grabber cad is sync. 

After the PC cpu Process, it may have occur No Sync ISSUE. 

This event is the same as the uvc webcam ( logitech webcam, Microsoft webcam)

All of UVC device ( camera , grabber card...) have this Sync issue.  

It is due to the PC CPU process priority.    

It need the software AP to build the SYNC function for Audio and video 

Case 1: No SYNC function for audio and video

   For example: windows amcap (record),  MAC quicktime ( record)...

Case 2:  Own SYNC  function for audio and vide

  For example:  OBS,  Live google hangouts Youtube , skype.....

  (The No sync event will be smaller)

How to change the firmware (f/w) of UVC Grabber card.

The default firmware of uvc grabber card is as below.

auto detect NTSC or PAL.

Resolution is up to 640x480

MJPEG or YUV

Bulk mode

frame rate control


If you wan to let the resolution become 720x480 for NTSC  only or 720x576 for PAL only,

you must change the firmware.

Apple MACBOOK (Mac OS X) 測試”不用驅動程式的A/V端子 (CVBS)影像擷取卡”

在mac 的OS 下有許多內鍵免費的usb webcam程式,比如:PhotoBooth , ichat 和  imovie 等軟體
其中,如果webcam 用photoBooth 和ichat 的話,畫面會自動mirror(鏡向) 也就是左右顛倒…
後來,終於找到一個軟體是忠於原味…沒有左右顛倒…
那就是 MAC quickTime Player…
本篇測試文是基於quickTime Player 軟體下,去測試這支免驅動程式的CVBS(A/V)影像擷取卡

跟門市小姐知會一聲, 他們也沒有反對而且也同意之下開始測試..
門市服務員還教我, command+shift+3  就可以將mac 的影像抓到桌面成 png 的影像檔


↓一開始先打開quickTime Player。這個版本可以用pro 的也可以用內鍵的.
