IP CAMERA 或USB hdmi 視訊影像擷取卡 透過GOOGLE+ hangouts教學做視訊會議

一般直覺要將影像透過遠端傳輸，大多會想到SKYPE

但是SKYPE 只能夠一對一，無法一對多..

一些IP CAMERA宣稱有穿牆的能力，
大部分穿牆頂多是一對三，一對 20以下，
沒有一個IP CAMERA 硬體廠商敢宣稱,他的ip camera可以直接面對 幾萬個人同時來看....



這次的318學運，學生們充分利用GOOGLE+ hangouts 或是ustream.
這兩種方法都是可以一對多 (一台傳輸,幾千幾萬人同時看)
 將立法院的影像即時轉播出去，資訊馬上傳播

 這樣一對多的服務，是免費的～～
 不用租用伺服器，就可以直接一對多的廣播...


學運學生採用的視訊來源通常是 usb webcam 或是內建筆電的攝影機  或是iPad的鏡頭,

有些情況，採用USB webcam 或是內建的攝影機是有他的缺陷,


我在想,是否 wifi ip camera , usb 擷取卡 可否當成視訊來源呢？


答案是可以的,

以下介紹用WIFI IP camera 和  免驅動程式USB HDMI 擷取卡 作為視訊來源的介紹
