FEBON168 USB HDMI grabber card work on MAC quicktime player

MAC quicktime player not only play the video clip BUT ALSO  open live uvc webcam.

quicktime do not like windows "amcap".

Amcap can choose the all of uvc webcam paramter.

For example: resolution , video compression format, frame rate....

But...

quicktime just can choose the video resolution by video quality " high / excellent high"




FEBON168 UVC HDMI grabber card have  two version

1. 720p version

2. 1080p version


Both of two model will have difference result  in quicktime.

1.HDMI INPUT is up to 1920x1080P
 ( FEBON168-1080P version）

  FEBON168 will tell your hdmi source  that FEBON168 can eat 1920x1080p, 1280x720p, 1366x768p.

  Your hdmi source will output the max resolution that FEBON168 can eat. 

  This is control by EDID of HDMI RX from FEBON168.

2 hdmi INPUT is up to 1280x720p 
（FEBON168-720P version）


FEBON168 will tell your hdmi source  that FEBON168 can eat 1280x720p only

  Your hdmi source will output the 720p resolution that FEBON168 can eat. 

  This is control by EDID of HDMI RX from FEBON168.








1.  FEBON168(720P version)  work on MAC quicktime


 FEBON168 hardware inner  LED will be light and no flah (stable)

  This signal inform you the hdmi source is output 720p and FEBON168 can successfully capture the HDMI source.

720P HDMI source is  1280X720P  50FPS  or 60fps

 








Parameter 1: video quality is high

   you can plug " command +i" to get the compression information.

      video quality "high" means quictime will use h.264 to compression the video. 
 

parameter 2: video quality is excellent high


      you can plug " command +i" to get the compression information.

   
      video quality "excellent  high" means  quicktime use apple compression ....

      I do not know what compression is.

2.  FEBON168(1080P version) works on MAC quicktime


If you use FEBON168 (1080P VERSION), there are two situations.



SITUATION 1 :HDMI INPUT is 1920x1080p


The rim led light will be turn on when  HDMI input is 1920x1080p.

  This signal inform you the hdmi source is output 1080p and FEBON168 can successfully capture the HDMI source.

1080p HDMI source is  1920x1080P  50FPS  or 60fps or 24fps..



 

Parameter 1：video quality high

     you can plug " command+i" to show the compression format

   The compression format is H.264.

    You will see the video will be crop when quicktime video quality parameter is "high"

   

Parameter 2: video quality "excellent high"

      you can plug " command+i" to show the compression format

   The compression format is H.264.

    You will see the video will be 100% match when quicktime video quality parameter is "excellent high"

Situation 2: HDMI INPUT is 1280X720P

  This signal inform you the hdmi source is output 720p and FEBON168 can successfully capture the HDMI source.

720P HDMI source is  1280X720P  50FPS  or 60fps

Parameter 1：video quality high

    You will see the video will 100% match when quicktime video quality parameter is "high"

Parameter 2: video quality "excellent high"

      you can plug " command+i" to show the compression format

   The compression format is H.264.

    You will see the video is black  when quicktime video quality parameter is "excellent high"
