There are many parameter characteristic for your choice as below

Price , video latency,  output resolution and frame rate,  video scaler distortion , Power , dimension size,  USB3.0 compatible. ...


Video scaler distortion:

we wish the video do not have any distortion.

But, the hdmi have many kind of resolution and UVC output also have many kind of resolution.

Some software can not choose the uvc output resolution.  

if we do not add the video scaler ic , it do not easy to use

because hdmi input resolution/ frame rate must be equal the UVC output resolution and frame rate

for example:

hdmi source: 1920x1080p 60fps

uvc hdmi capture card have  1920x1080p , 1280x720p  , 720x480p uvc output.

SKYPE always get  1280x720p uvc

For this case,  hdmi input  do not equal uvc output.

if we do not add the video scaler ic,  it do not have any video.


After add the video scaler ic , it become the Independence between  HDMI INPUT and UVC output.


But, it will occur the video scaler distortion

it is a trade off  !!

SecuTech Expo 2016 台灣 台北國際安全博覽會安控展 (安全監控展\安控展) 心得

我已經沒有賣安全監控產品很多年了

但是我仍然每年的去看安全監控展，

看來看去，大概心得如下
 
 a.安全監控產業面臨的是規模經濟和差異化的兩種極端

 對於製造商而言，你若不是規模經濟的工廠，那就一定要極度高度客製化

夾在中間要上不上，要下不下　都會慢慢離開這個市場


規模經濟市場的代表就是 TVI CVI AHD等攝影機

這些攝影機大概已經被海康大華等大公司統一

台灣傳統cctv 攝影機製造商若要跟他們拼價格，又沒有特殊的差異化，一定會被慢被取代


我從2005開始看安控展一直看到現在，

早期的參展最大規模是南港展覽館的兩層樓滿滿的

一直到現在只有一層又不滿，扣掉休息區等，大概只有最剩下一層樓的 2/3 不到


為何如此？　大概原因可想而知


當然，不見得沒有參展的廠商就是被淘汰，

比如　奇偶 nuuo  ACTI ZAVIO   慧友　等等　大咖都沒有參展

這個就是下面原因


b. 安全監控展也面臨大者恆大的現象

為何廠商要參展？雖然都是大拜拜，但更重要的事可以抓到外國人訂單

外國人會選擇比較大的深圳安防展來參觀

這也是大者恆大的磁吸效應，造成外國人漸漸少來台灣安控展

外國人漸漸變少，當然廠商就沒有誘因來參展


建議主辦單位，可以多設一些創新專區，

台灣既然無法走規模經濟，那麼小樣多要的創新產品，是可以跟中國的安防展有所區隔


c.零組件廠商參展的越來越少

今年只有看到韓國pixelplus 的cmos 元件來參展，還有日本富士通在場外參展

其他諸如soc 零件廠商　等等都沒有人來了





這次看展，主要是看一些奇奇怪怪的產品，

若您對於 TVI CVI AHD 攝影機有極高興趣，那我的這篇文章鐵定會讓你失望

因為根本連看都沒有看


1. 用安全監控攝影機做出來的3D camera

  雙鏡頭攝影機可以照出立體影像

但這家公司說，他們的應用是數人頭　計數的應用

是不是雙鏡頭算人頭更準確？

這款攝影機是左邊和右邊影像拼成一張720x480的CVBS 輸出

解析度可以再提高成HD 或是Full HD.

What is SD-SDI ?

It is  720X480i  60 field or  720x576i  50field

The most SDI format in the world is HD-SDI / 3G-SDI 

It is not easy to get  SD-SDI video source.


I use blackmagic "analog to sdi converter"  to simulate the SD-SDI video source.


analog to sdi convert is very expensive.



The yellow line is CVBS (Composite) PAL .

It is 720X576i

The white and red line is analog audio


 RCA audio can not directly connect the box.

you need add the " TRS to RCA "  connector.

Switch the jump  5 into "on  " location.

Composite and audio is from multimedia box

 I will let SD-SDI video source become  UVC  webcam like

MAC quicktime  and wirecast can get the live video stream of SD-SDI
